Yes. However, accommodation is separate for boys and girls.
Our courses are limited to 100 students per course. This ensures appropriate supervision and optimises the safety. Each and every student is personally known to the staff. It also allows students to interact well together and achieve better fluency in the irish language.
The accommodation is of high standard. All students are housed with irish speaking families who have been approved by the department of gaeltacht inspectorate.
The food is of a high and uniform standard. The menus are agreed by Coláiste an Phiarsaigh and the mná tí prior to each course. We ensure a well balanced diet of appropriate quality and quantity is provided. Special dietary requests are catered for.

Friends are accommodated together wherever possible.
All the accommodation is within walking distance of the Coláiste. However buses are provided on a daily basis to transport students to activities and in wet weather.
The houses can accommodate between 8 to 12 students. The capacity of each house is determined by the inpectorate and all safety standards and fire are adhered to.
Yes. Students are encouraged to attend independently. We find they return home with many new friends.
The Coláiste must be informed about all illnesses and the decision to attend is made on a case by case basis.
Students need only bring :
Clothing, towels, toiletries, runners, a raincoat, sun cream and insect repellent. Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments. All wetsuits and equipment is provided by Coláiste an Phiarsaigh but students may bring their own wetsuit if they so wish. Students must care for their personal belongings. Lost or damaged property is not the responsibility of Coláiste an Phiarsaigh.
No but be mindful of weight for students carrying heavy cases. We encourage students to travel light.
Buses are provided to various activities on a daily basis and a return bus service from Belfast, Dublin and Galway. Total cost of transport is €60/£50.

Students require no money during the course. The course fee covers all costs, however there is a shop nearby where students may purchase confectionery.
All valuables and pocket money must be given to the mná tí for safe keeping. Lost or damaged property is not the responsibility of Coláiste an Phiarsaigh.
The classes are divided according to age.
The groups are divided according to the houses for activities.
Students are directly contactable at all times and through mná tí after 11pm.
Yes. Visitors are welcome at any time.
Yes. However during class, phones will be on silent and at night phones must be given to the mná tí to ensure a good sleep.
